Sypht ("we", "our", or "the app") is developed by J&B Creations. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Your tasks and data stay on your device. We don't track you, show you ads, or sell your information. The only reason we need an account is to verify your subscription.
Sypht stores all your tasks, categories, locations, steps, and preferences locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is not uploaded to our servers or any cloud storage. If you delete the app, this data is permanently removed.
Sypht uses Sign in with Apple for authentication. When you sign in, we receive:
This information is used solely to verify your identity and manage your subscription status. We do not use your Apple ID for marketing, tracking, or any other purpose.
When you use Sypht's AI features (task categorization, voice dump extraction, smart suggestions, daily planning), the text of your tasks is sent to our backend service, which forwards it to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. Specifically:

Subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not collect, process, or store any payment information. Apple handles all billing, receipts, and payment data according to their own privacy policy.
Sypht requests microphone access and speech recognition permission to enable voice brain dumps. Audio is processed on-device using Apple's Speech framework to convert your voice to text. The resulting text is then processed by our AI service as described above. We do not record, store, or transmit your audio.
Sypht does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not collect usage data, device identifiers, or behavioral information. We do not use cookies on this website beyond what is strictly necessary for it to function.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. The only data that leaves your device is:
Since your task data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. Deleting the app removes all local data. Your account information (anonymous Apple ID and subscription status) is retained on our server only as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us.
Sypht is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
